“Rupaul’s Dragrace Season 13” Costume Design: Wilberth Gonzalez Dragrace Contestant: Kandy Muse Kandy Muse asked me to design a look for the Bag Ball. Her runway theme was "Bag of Tricks" and the costume is a latex and vinyl, magician inspired, garment. In addition, the magic velvet bag is able to transform into a wearable caplet.
Kandy Muse was gracious enough to let me create whatever came to my mind when airbrushing this bodysuit. It was my first time airbrushing so I wanted to create something intricate that would challenge me. The look was inspired by Mugler and vintage hot rods. The bodysuit started off as a white base but quickly became much more than that. The look was suppose to be worn by Kandy Muse on the first episode but ended up being saved for the makeover challenge and worn by Gottmik.
