"KING AND I"
COSTUME DESIGN: CATHERINE ZUBER
I was asked by Catherine Zuber to paint all the ballet masks for "The King and I" Broadway musical. The masks were built by Acheson Walsh Studio and then sent to me for painting and jeweling. I used a combination of the brand "Black" gold spray paint for the crowns and then Angelus paint for the face of each mask. The jeweling was a combination of crystal trims and metal findings to add the much needed sparkle.
