A RATCHED HALLOWEEN COSTUME CONTEST
COSTUME DESIGN: WILBERTH GONZALEZ
My concept for this costume entry was to capture the whimsical, dark, and stylized costumes and production design of the show. From the yellow two piece suit, the hand painted nurse garment, to the miniature theater everything was pretty much built from scratch. Creating the structure in the skirt to hold a miniature theater was the hardest part. It had not only had to be balanced but it also had to disappear completely so it would be nice reveal. I was fortunate enough to take home honorable mention and a shout out from Sarah Paulson herself.
